What is 2 Factor Authentication?
Two-factor authentication, also known as 2FA or multi-factor authentication, is a security process that requires users to provide two different authentication factors to access their accounts. It provides an additional layer of security beyond just a username and password which significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and protects sensitive information such as personal data.
As an Administrator for the LookinBody Web account you can enable Two-Factor Authentication for all users on your account creating another layer of security using a combination of ID/Password and Email to login.
Before Setting Up
Please review your account information to ensure that the correct email address has been registered to your account. For your Staff login accounts, please head to the Staff Management page and verify all registered email address are correct and up to date.
The LookinBody Web Two-Factor Authentication feature sends a verification code to the registered email address attached to the Login ID.
Emails are sent from [email protected], as this is a non-monitored email, your IT team may ask you for this email to add to your company's safe sender list.
Setting Up Two-Factor Authentication
1. Head to the Setup menu (must be logged in as an Administrator)
2. Select 01. Two-factor authentication under Account Settings
3. Select Yes and Save
Logging in with Two-Factor Enabled
1. From https://usa.lookinbody.com/ enter in your ID and Password
2. Click on Request Code
3. Please check your Inbox, if you do not see the email you may want to check your Junk/Spam folder as well
4. Enter in the verification code provided from the email on the login page to complete the login.
